Evaluating the use of sensors in physical distribution logistics
Abstract
The present study aims to analyzes the implementation of the MSR175 Data Logger device in the logistics of the distribution of nuts by a tradring company. The objective is to monitor and evaluate critical environmental variables (temperature, humidity, acceleration) during the transport of these products to preserve their quality and freshness. This analysis also seeks to reduce the costs associated with retunrns of merchandise and improve customer satisfaction. The research was carried out through real-time monitoring using the MSR175 Data Logger on distribution routes in Aguascalientes. The results indicate a direct relationship between environmental variables and the state of conservation of products, suggesting improvements to optimize the distribution logistics of perishable products and contribute to the development of best practices.
