This study aimed at answering questions raised concerning this educational transformation for different participants, the effectiveness of the instructional implementations, and the consequences of the existent digital divide. A sample of 5 students from public Mexican universities was interviewed. The qualitative evidences were collected and analyzed using themeing the data categorically and axial codes with Nvivo software. The findings are related to aspects that affected this situation as the use of electronic gadgets, internet connectivity, teachers’ training, and institutional resources. Finally, suggestions are made to improve education for the new normal lifestyle post CoVID-19. From higher education students’ perspectives, blended learning and flipped classroom were suggested as options to continue education. Higher education institutions will need to encourage the development of these skills to improve their efficiency in education and graduates’ insertion into the job market.
